Dr Monisha Gupta

Dr.Gupta completed her MBBS in 1988 and her Post-Graduate MD degree in Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy in 1993, from Punjab University, Chandigarh, India.
She worked as a consultant specialist and assistant professor in dermatology in a large teaching hospital in north India, for over ten years. She was actively involved both with clinical practice and teaching undergraduate and post graduate students.
Having relocated to Australia in 2006, she worked in Liverpool and Concord Hospitals, in Sydney, and was admitted as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, in 2008.
Her main areas of interest are in general dermatology, pigmentary skin disorders, cosmetic dermatology and infectious diseases in dermatology with special expertise in leprosy.
Teaching remains a passion with Monisha and is currently a conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of NSW.
